Students received their examination papers back from their homeroom teachers this afternoon. How did they do?

Before each examination period, students spend time writing in their school diaries about how they plan to prepare for their exams and what results they expect in each subject. After the exams, they receive their papers back, review what they did well and what they need to work harder on, and reflect on the expectations they recorded in their diaries. They then write their reflections in their diaries.

This is not only a good habit to develop when it comes to studying, but it is also highly beneficial in life in general. Regularly reflecting on your own performance and experiences can help you grow and mature as a person.

What’s your next goal? Let’s strive to be 1% better than yesterday.

“We do not learn from experience. We learn from reflecting on experience.”

John Dewey (American philosopher and educational reformer)
