On the final day of examinations last week, we had an evacuation drill. This time we practiced what to do in the case of an earthquake. Earthquakes are very common in Japan, so it’s vital for all students and teachers to be familiar with the evacuation procedures. The main thing to do is remain calm and not panic. Rather than focus on your material things, look out for your family and friends. Working as a team, especially in a time of natural disasater, is of utmost importance.
“Preparedness is the only way we can combat a natural disaster.”
