Second and third-year students gathered in the auditorium for a scheduled reading hour. The book chosen for this term is the title “3000 yen – How To Enrich Your Life”. This time, we had special guest, Chika Imai, read the first chapter of the book. This was a rare opportunity and we were lucky to be able to enjoy Chinatsu Imai reading for us.
With the rise of social media and other digital content outlets, it’s difficult for the current generation to build strong habits of reading. The hope is that as students do it together as a group, it would spark a new found interest in reading.
