A Small Christmas Party (English Club)

Merry Christmas everyone! It’s getting quite cold, isn’t it? That means only one thing. Christmas is right around the corner!

The English Club invited students from the local elementary schools to join a small Christmas party.  As you can see from the photos, the club members were the MCs and helpers for the entire event.  First, students enjoyed a short trivia quiz using the interactive application, Kahoot!.  After that, they tested their skills with a game of “Pin the tail on the donkey”.  However, since it is almost Christmas, we tried a few Christmas themed variations such as putting a beard on Santa.   It was surprisingly difficult!

Finally, we made some snowmen together.  Yui did a great job demonstrating and explaining how to make them.  Here are the final products.  Aren’t they cute?

Just before our guests left, we had a special surprise visit from Santa.  Each visitor received an early Christmas present from him.  How kind of him to take time out of his extremely busy schedule!

Thank you again to the English Club for doing such a great job.  And thank you to our visitors.  We look forward to seeing you again soon.

To everyone else, we hope you have a safe and enjoyable winter break.  From all of us here at Tokai Gyosei, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
